Family Network
Family Den keeps you organized and connected to your social network of friends and
extended family. By using Family Den's sync with Facebook, Google, Email, and other online resources, you have all of
your contacts and social groups right at your finger tips!
Social Groups
Social networks are popular and here to stay, so Family Den links directly to Facebook and other social networks to ensure
that you stay connected and up to date with all of your social groups. You can easily see any new events, discussions, and members
of your social groups and use all of the organizational features you love about Family Den to coordinate with them. You can respond
to the newest wall post on your son's baseball team's Facebook group right from the discussion thread in Family Den, and even create lists and
events to send out to the group as well!
Contacts
We know you have contacts saved on your social networks and email accounts already, and we don't want you to have to enter them again!
We will sync with your email and social networks to keep your contacts list in Family Den up to date. You can then include any of your
contacts as a member of items you create in Family Den, and we will contact them through email or the social network you have them
saved in.
Connecting Groups
We know that there are some groups that you have a deeper connection with them others, like extended family. Family Den makes
it easy for you to create groups that represent the way you communicate and organize. You can great groups right inside Family Den
that you can use to organize your world in an easy and flexible way.
Sharing
With all the ways to connect with people in Family Den, we allow you to share with them as well. Any item you create in Family Den
can be shared with contacts or groups that you choose. The default is to share with your family, but depending on what you are working
on you may want to share with the group you are viewing, or share photos and discussions with your parents or extended family. This is
all easily and securely done with Family Den.
Role Security
Groups, like all other items in Family Den, are easily managed with our role based system. All family coordinators
will have admin rights on any item that any family member creates. This allows family coordinators to modify their own groups,
or the groups of the entire family. All none coordinators only have the ability to modify groups and items that they create or add new
groups to Family Den.
Calendars
Family Den allows families to organize events for individuals and the family as a whole.
Events can include family contacts or groups that the family is associated with, like sports teams or extended
family.
Calendar Import/Export
Family Den allows you to link your personal calendars so that events created in Family Den can be
seen on the calendars that you use daily at work or on your phone. You get to choose what events to sync
and how you want those syncs to behave. We support Google Calendar, Outlook, iCalendar, and many others
Shared Events
Calendar events in Family Den can be shared among your immediate family, family contacts, and family groups.
Each event has its own participants so that you have complete control over who sees and interacts with them.
Each person can choose their own settings for alerts and calendar syncing as well.
Linked Items
Family Den allows users to link all of our items to eachother. This allows you to link a task list with an event, or
a discussion your son's baseball team has been having about the upcoming tournament to the event
of that tournament. This allows for a rich organizational experience of keeping items grouped by audience and relivance.

Lists
Family lists allow you to keep all types of items organized and share them with your friends and family.
Family Den has different list types that offer you specifc features tailored to each list type's uses.
Todo/Chores Lists
Todo lists allow you to track items that you or others need to accomplish and want to keep track of your progress.
Todo lists and items can have due dates and can even have awards and consequences linked to them to give your children
a weekly chores list to keep track of. Let them see the progress they are making towards their weekly allowance reward
on their smart phones, and see how quickly that trash gets taken out!
Grocery Lists
Grocery lists in Family Den give you a simple and comprehensive way to organize all the items you need for your next grocery
shopping run. It allows other family members to add items onto the list for your approval, so now when your kids remember what
snacks they want, they can pull out their smart phone and add it to Family Den in seconds. Family Den's groceries lists also give
you recommendations on brands, coupons and stores to buy your items from to get the best savings in your local area.
School Work
Family Den provides a school work list to give the family coordinator the ability to keep track of what is going on with
your child's education. We sync with a large selection of school's online backpacks to import your child's class schedules
and add items like reports, projects, and tests. We allow family coordinators to associate rewards and consequences with these
lists to give your children that added incentive to get straight A's. It is quick and easy to update the grades of any school item
either through the school's online backpack or from Family Den.
Wish Lists
How often do you have to ask your kids what they want for christmas or their brithday this year, just to have them tell you while
you have nothing to write it down with. Wish lists give you a place to organize all those items and even lets your children easily
add items to it at any time from their computer or smart phone. We let the family coordinator hide the status of the items so that
your kids cannot see that you have already gotten them their new present!
General Lists
We know you have a lot of things going on in your life that do not fit neatly into a category. For those items we have generic lists
that let you add any type of item you want. You can use it to track a carpool list for an upcoming sports team trip, or a list of
snacks you want to remember to bring with you on your family's road drip to see the grandparents.

Family Den allows users to keep track of conversations that are happening all over their social network space
and within their family. Discussions can be between just a few members of the family, or with groups the family is involved in,
like sports teams and extended family.
Social Networks
Family Den allows you to coordinate all the discussions that you have going on around the internet, in one place where you
can keep it all organized. If your cousin post a reply to your extended family's facebook group, it will show up right inside
Family Den and allow you to respond without leaving our site. You can even attach other items you have created in Family Den
like lists and events.
Linked Content
Sometimes discussions are just more beneficial when other content that you are talking about is available and easy accessed. With
Family Den you can link other items to the discussion so that you and the other participants can see the event you are talking about
and the list of people attending, right from the conversation

Family Den understands that today's parents have a lot to worry about when it comes to their children's safety.
With their children being increasingly exposed to the world through social networks and the internet, parents need some peace of mind.
Social Network Monitoring
Through our partnerships Family Den is able to offer parents the ability to keep an eye on the children's online pressence with
social network monitoring tools. With these tools you can be alerted when your chidlren get new friends, and see who that person is and
how they know them. You can find out when your children uses words online that violate a list of words you want to monitor. All of this
information will be immediately available for you on your Family Den home dashboard.
GPS Location
With more and more children getting smart phones, shouldn't parents be able to make sure they know where their children on? With our
partners Family Den allows parents to have that peace of mind. You can create simple "Check in" tasks for your children so that they
will get an alert on their phone that asks them to check in when they get to their final destination. Now you will know if your son is
really sleeping over his friends house, and you can do it by giving your children the responsibilty of checking in with you.
Dashboard Views
Family Den is designed to keep you organized quickly and easily so that you can get back to living your life. With this
in mind, we have designed a dashboard that can give you the majority of the information you need each day on a single page.
Activity Feed
The main portion of your dashboard is the activity feed. You can easily see what has been updated and changed in your Family Den
space and click through to details on each item. You do not need to go digging through all of your discussions and groups to see what
is new, it is all aggregated for you in plain view.
Upcoming Tasks
A section of the dashboard will have all of your, and your family's, upcoming tasks. You can choose to filter the dashboard on any member of
your family or your groups and all of the areas will reflect information pertaining to that individual or group. See what you have on your
list of things to do today and quickly check items off. Change the filter to include all of your family and you can see what the day looks
like for everyone.
Upcoming Events
The upcoming events section shows you a quick view of the events that you and your family have coming up on your calendar. You can quickly
see locations and participants and any conflicts right from your home screen
Favorites
Sometimes you want to keep track of specific items that you use regularly, like grocery lists or your daughter's list of chores. With
Family Den's favorites area on your dashboard you can do just that. We allow you to pin any Family Den item, lists, groups, discussions, events
, all right on your home screen.
